I am a music loving language nut who teaches at a college in Amsterdam at the department for education. I am responsible for teaching aspiring English teachers about linguistics, sociolinguistics and English language skills. I am currently enrolled in a Research Master’s program at Tilburg University for which I hope to graduate in 2013. I also love to dance or go to the gym for a good work out.
Other interests include: reading, cooking, shopping (clothes, shoes, CDs, make up, books, gadgets) and traveling. Not in that particular order though. I love to learn new things. My main means of transportation are trains. I use trains on a daily basis: from home to work, to school, to family, friends, concerts; it takes me everywhere. It’s when I read books and listen to music mostly. I love hanging out with friends. I like to visit museums and I attend concerts on a regular basis.
What you can expect from this blog is daily posts on all things that interest me. This varies from reviews of beauty products, make up looks and what I wore, to the latest addition to my music collection, a movie that impressed me, a book that grabbed me, a song that moved me, linguistic facts/ oddities I encounter, or simply a list of items I bought on my last shopping spree.

Hoi,
Op beautylab.nl heb je gereageerd interesse te hebben in mijn Jeffrey campbell lita’s.
Ze vakken daadwerkelijk als een maat 37 en heb ze helaas maar 1x gedragen.
Door mijn onverwachte voetoperatie moet ik een jaar revalideren en is de kans klein ooit nog hakken te kunnen dragen.
Met pijn in mijn hart moet ik dus afscheid nemen van deze geweldige schoenen.

Oh I don’t know any make up artists personally. Maybe you can try Goudengids.nl? That’s the Dutch version of the Yellow Pages… Sorry I can’t be of any more help.
